2010: The Haiku of Sayumi Kamakura: A Critical Study, published by Cyberwit.net. I contributed the essay, “Racing toward the Sun: Thoughts wile Reading Sayumi Kamakura's A Crown of Roses.”

2008: Modern Haiga. I have three haiga in this anthology. Haiga are short poems (such as haiku or tanka) accompanying an image. Published by Modern English Tanka Press.

2007: Tanka Teachers Guide, published by Modern English Tanka Press. My article in this book is called “Teaching Tanka” and was inspired by my creative writing students in a course I taught for Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ.

1998: Nature Walks in New Jersey, published by the Appalachian Mountain Club. Thanks to Glenn Scherer, the author of this wonderful book about all that is beautiful about New Jersey, for asking me to contribute a few chapters and sidebars on natural history. I knew my biology degree would come in handy someday!

1997: The Muse Strikes Back: A Poetic Response by Women to Men, edited by Katherine McAlpine and Gail White. Published by Story Line Press. I have two poems in this anthology, which is out of print but still “out there” used—and well worth finding!
